   Olympic Stadium

   The Montjuïc Olympic Stadium

   The Montjuïc Olympic Stadium is Barcelona's main Olympic facility. It is home to concerts and major sporting events. The second-largest stadium in the world at the time, it was designed for the 1936 Olympic Games, but due to the political situation of the time they never took place there and the stadium fell into disuse until it was remodeled for the 1992 Olympic Games.

    City Hall, also known as the “Casa de la Ciutat” (the house of the city), stands on one side of the Plaça Sant Jaume, right in the middle of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and in front of the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
