   Monserrate Palace

   This magnificent property is a jungle of exotic trees and flowering shrubs. Its’ history dates back to the time of the Moors, but it was named after a small 16th century chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Monteserrat, from Catalonia, Spain. ( Suggested Monument )

   Sintra

   Sintra National Palace

   In the heart of the village of Sintra, a pair of unusual conical chimneys rise above the Royal Palace. This Palace became the favourite summer retreat of the court and continued, as the residence of the Portuguese royalty, until the 1980s. The gradual reconstruction of the palace resulted in a fascinating amalgam of styles. ( Suggested Monument )

   Castle of the Moors

   As you stroll through the beautiful and exotic landscape, your guide will give you historical and architectural details on the region but letting you explore the monuments on your own.
