   Vatican Museums

   The tour begins from the entrance of the Vatican Museums, where, after skipping the long line,  from Momo's spiral staircase you will walk to the Belvedere courtyard where the huge bronze pinecone is located. The visit continues to the Gallery of Ancient Roman Sculptures, the Room of Muses, the Room of Animals and the Rotunda. Next, the guide will take you to the gallery of Geographic Maps, the Gallery of Tapistries, and the Sobiesky Hall.

   Sistine Chapel

   After this comes the most famous part of the Museums, the popular rooms painted by Raphael for Pope Julius II and the Sistine Chapel including Michelangelo's masterpieces: the Creation of Adam and the Last Judgment.

   St. Peter's Basilica

   The last part of the tour focuses on the Basilica of St. Peter and its most famous treasures: the Pietà, the Baldacchino, the Cathedra and other famous artworks.

   St. Peter's Square

   Your Vatican visit will end in the square where you will see the Pope's Palace, the smoke's chimney and the Balcony of blessings. While in Vatican City you can't miss the opportunity of sending a postcard from the smallest country of the world!

This has already happened this year and can happen again during you Vatican tour: the Sistine chapel and/or the Basilica of Saint Peter might not be accessible. In case of such events our tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative focusing the tour inside the Vatican museums.
• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
