   St. Peter's Basilica

   St. Peter’s Dome Climb.

   • The experience continues with access to St. Peter’s Dome, one of the most iconic viewpoints in Rome. • After entering the Dome, you’ll first admire the interior view from above, looking down into the Basilica from a unique balcony beneath Michelangelo’s magnificent cupola. Your guide will explain the symbolism, scale, and engineering behind the Dome before the climb continues upward. • You’ll then ascend to the top of the Dome, using an elevator for part of the journey followed by a series of steps. The final stretch is narrow and steep, adding to the sense of adventure and achievement as you make your way upward. • At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over Vatican City and Rome. From this height, you can see St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican Gardens, the Tiber River, and Rome’s historic skyline stretching in every direction. • Enjoy the view and take photos before descending, completing an unforgettable journey of the Basilica
