   Vatican Museums

   The Vatican Museums public entrance is infamous for its incredibly long lines. This fast track tickets allow you to bypass the general admissions line and enter much quicker and increases your time inside the Vatican by eliminating all the needless waiting around outside. Once you have your ticket, you’ll be able to wander off and explore the museums at your own leisure. Established in 1506 and created as the private Museums for the popes, containing over 70,000 works which are housed in thousands of rooms, this museum has something for everyone, from Egyptian, Sumerian and Ancient Roman artefacts to Renaissance, Baroque and even contemporary works. The highlight of the Vatican Museums is, without a doubt, the Sistine Chapel. Located at the end of a network of galleries, this Renaissance chantry is impressive. Frescos surround you from almost every angle, works by Perugino, Ghirlandaio and Botticelli cover its lower walls, and Michelangelo’s pieces dominate the altar wall and ceiling.
