Sie hat sowohl Ruhm als Hauptstadt des Heiligen Römischen Reiches und der jungen Tschechoslowakei gesehen, als auch Niedergang, als bloße Stadt Österreich-Ungarns. Seine mittelalterlichen Kirchen, Barockschlösser und Bauhausviertel bergen Erinnerungen an alles. Prag war jahrhundertelang eine Kreuzung der Deutschen, Jüdischen und Tschechischen Kultur. Hier entstand der Golem; Doktor Faust lebte hier. Es ist mit Mozart, Kafka und Milos Forman verbunden. Dies ist ein 4-stündiger Spaziergang, in moderatem Tempo, mit Stopps an Sehenswürdigkeiten zum Geschichtenerzählen und Konversieren.
