   In the morning, we will visit Avignon, also known as the City of Popes. In 1309, the Vatican moved its capital here. Until around 1377, a total of seven popes lived here. The famous Palais des Papes in the city was built at that time. Avignon is an important city of art and history in France. In the afternoon, we will go to the desirable Gode City in Meier's "Mountain Life", which is also known as the Stone City. Known as the "hanging village", it is also called the "Castle in the Sky" because it looks like it is hanging in the sky. The rocky mountain city was built in the Middle Ages and is made of stacked limestone slabs.

Avignon--Arles --Barcelona

   In the morning, we will depart for Arles, a small town famous for Van Gogh. This town has been listed as a key city since the ancient Roman period, and therefore there are many ancient Roman ruins. The famous Dutch painter Van Gogh added some color to this town. This can be said to be the source of Van Gogh's inspiration for his paintings. Although Van Gogh lived here for only a little over a year, that year was the peak of his creative career. He created more than 200 oil paintings, the most famous of which are "Langloup Bridge and the Washerwoman", "Café Under the Stars" and "Bedroom in Arles". Follow in Van Gogh's footsteps to the Langlois Suspension Bridge and the café, and you will be amazed to see the real scenes in Van Gogh's paintings appear before your eyes.

   In the morning, we will visit the famous Montserrat mountain area. The Montserrat Monastery here is the most important religious sanctuary in Catalonia. The statue of the Black-faced Virgin Mary holding the Holy Child is the spiritual and soul guardian of the locals. Montserrat Mountain is surrounded by huge and bizarrely shaped rocks, which is very unique and spectacular. At noon, we will visit the charming and passionate Barcelona, go to the Columbus Monument and Las Ramblas, and then visit the Sagrada Familia, the most representative cathedral in Barcelona. This cathedral is the masterpiece of Gaud.

   Monserrate Mountain & Monastery (exterior, 40 mins, optional for internal visit)

   Montserrat is a rocky mountain range in Catalonia, Spain. “Montserrat” translates to “saw mountain” in Catalan, owing to this mountain range’s jagged, sawtooth appearance. Sitting atop the mountain range is Santa Maria de Montserrat, a Benedictine monastery. Located inside of the monastery is a statue of the of the Virgin of Montserrat, one of the few black madonnas of Europe. This is Catalonia’s most important religious retreat, as many people make an overnight hike to watch the sunrise from the peak of Montserrat.

   Columbus Monument (exterior, 15 mins)

   One of the most iconic monuments in the city is the Columbus Monument. It stands at the end of Barcelona's Rambla, near the sea. This major landmark on the Rambla was built in 1888 for the Universal Exhibition as a tribute to Christopher Columbus, who chose to disembark in the port of Barcelona on his return from America. In its top, dominating the sky of Barcelona, the statue of Christopher Columbus holding a navigational chart in his left hand, and pointing to the route to America with his right.

   Las Ramblas

   The middle of the avenue is full of flower shops and pavilions. This is a street full of life and colour, with a central sidewalk where you can stroll among the various stalls, florists and shops. The avenue is over one kilometer long, starting from Plaza Catalunya and ending at the Columbus Tower. Each section of the road has a different name. Frequented by tourists and Barcelona locals, this place is always bustling with activity. In addition, there are frequent performances by street artists, which, together with other ever-changing performances, turn Las Ramblas into an unforgettable miniature tour of Barcelona. It was built in the 18th century and was derived from Barcelona's medieval city walls. Today it contains many of Barcelona's most important buildings.

   Welcome to a true symbol of Barcelona known as the Sagrada Família! It is a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica in the Example district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On 7 November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it as a minor basilica. Please note: Due to a temporary event on June 9, 2026, interior access to Sagrada Familia will not be available, and affected departures will view the basilica from the outside only.

   Landmark events such as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic and Paralympic Games and the athletics competitions were held in this venue, as the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport across the road from the stadium reminds us. It is now rated as a five-star venue by UEFA, which entitles it to host top-level European matches. The stadium is named after Lluís Companys, the president of the Catalan government during the Spanish Civil War.

Barcelona-- Pamplona--Saint Sebastian

   In the morning, we set off for the Basque Country in northern Spain. On the way, we first arrived in Pamplona, which is world-famous for its Running of the Bulls. Every year from July 6th to 14th, the most thrilling festival is held in the center of this beautiful medieval city: the Running of the Bulls. It is impressive. In addition to the Running of the Bulls, Pamplona is also a city full of history and traditions. San Sebastian, a shining pearl in northern Spain bordering France, is surrounded by mountains and the sea, with beautiful scenery that will make you linger. After the tour, we will depart for Bordeaux, the world's wine center. Upon arrival, visit the Bordeaux World Heritage Site of Saint-André Archbishop Church and the Place des Quinconces. Visiting a winery in this wine country is an experience not to be missed. The endless vineyards show Bordeaux's international status in winemaking.

   Place des Quinconces is a square in Bordeaux, France, with an area of 126,000 square meters, making it the second largest square in the European Union. It was opened in 1820 on the site of the Trompette Castle to prevent rebellion. The guns are turned towards the center. The shape is an elongated rectangle with a semicircle. The trees are planted in the shape of a plum blossom, hence the square's name.

   In the morning, we will set off for the Loire Valley, a world-renowned tourist attraction known as the back garden of France. The Loire River is called the mother river of France and is the longest river in France, with a flow of 1,020 kilometers. There are world-famous Loire Castles on both sides of the valley. Magnificent and beautiful castles can be seen everywhere. In the afternoon, we arrived at the Chateau de Chambord, known as the "King of Castles". This castle was built as a hunting palace by order of King Francis I of France in 1519 to show off the royal power and national strength.

   France's Backyard: Vallée de la Loire

   Vallée de la Loire is a region located southwest of Paris and is known as the "Garden of France". There are more than 300 castles here, and the rich environment nurtured by the river makes it a travel destination that combines humanity and nature. The castle complex was first built in the 10th century for military defense purposes. Over the following 500 years, French kings and nobles built more and more luxurious castles here. In 2020, the Loire Valley was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

   Placed on the first list of historical monuments in France in 1840, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981, Chambord is one of the most amazing constructions of the Renaissance. Among the many innovative designs of the Château de Chambord, the most eye-catching and outstanding architectural element is the double spiral staircase. It is the main tower, the central element of the castle, and symbolizes eternal renewal and rejuvenation. The peculiarity of this is that when two people use the stairs at the same time, although they can catch a glimpse of each other, they will never meet.
