   Dalí Theatre-Museum

   Dalí built his museum on the ruins of the town’s old municipal theatre, where he held his first exhibition as a teenager, and he is buried in its crypt. Recognisable by the giant eggs on its roof and its glass dome, it is considered the largest surrealist work in the world. Explore its rooms and courtyard, from the Rainy Taxi to the Mae West Room, and discover his most extraordinary creations.

   In the afternoon, head to the Costa Brava, a coastline of cliffs, pine-covered coves and fishing villages that inspired many of Dalí’s landscapes.
