You can stay and explore the exhibits until closing. With your entry ticket, you can also visit The Cloisters uptown on the same day. The Met has extended hours on Friday and Saturday evenings for a quieter, exclusive experience.

    • The Met Cloisters in uptown are normally open 10AM – 5PM
    • The pre-orientation experience option is shown as 2 hours long. It includes the 30-minute pre-orientation experience and then self-guided time in the Museum. You can off course spend longer than 90 minutes in the Museum if you want, but this is the minimum amount of time you should allow.
