Finally, you will discover details and curiosities about daily life in ancient times by exploring the insulae (the ancestors of our apartment buildings) and the rich domus(villas) of the patricians, the ancient shops and restaurants (such as the thermopolium, similar to our fast-food restaurants!) and even the public toilets (latrinae)! Please note that, for preservation reasons, the mosaics are covered during the winter season.
