You’ll have time to wander the narrow streets, admire the Sintra National Palace from the outside, or enjoy a gentle walk toward the gardens of Quinta da Regaleira (entry not included). For many guests, this moment is about atmosphere — sitting down for a coffee, watching the town move, and tasting one of Sintra’s iconic pastries, the Travesseiro or Queijada, while taking it all in.

   As we drive through the rolling hills outside Sintra, you’ll notice the sandy vineyards of Colares, home to one of Portugal’s rarest wines.
