À propos de cette activité

Turkey is a country with a rich history and cultural heritage, so a tour of its treasures would likely include visits to some of its most famous landmarks and attractions. These could include ancient sites like the ruins of Ephesus as well as iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque or the Hagia Sophia. What might make a tour of Turkish treasures unique could be the tour company's focus on lesser-known sites or off-the-beaten-path experiences that are not commonly included in other tours. The tour might also include unique cultural experiences, such as visiting a traditional Turkish hammam or trying local foods and drinks.

Humankind would have to wait for millennia before building a cathedral that would surpass the gigantic size of Hagia Sophia. Converted to a mosque following the Ottoman conquest of the city, by order of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in 1453, as the young Sultan fulfilled a divine premonition by the Holy Prophet Mohammad himself.
