   Piazza Navona

   You'll stop to admire Piazza Navona, build in the 17th century on top of the ruins of a stadium built by the Romans in the 2nd century. The square is dominated by the beautiful church of St. Agnes built by Bernini's rival: Borromini. Bernini instead is the author of the enchanting Fountain of the Four Rivers in the center of the square. The sites will not necessarily come in the order they are listed.
