   Arch of Constantine

   Arch of Constantine in the piazza of the Colosseum. The first Christian triumphal arch, it symbolises the victory of Constantine over Maxentius at the battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312AD. From this monument you will walk around the Colosseum and arrive at the Ludus Magnus, the ruins of the largest gladiator school in Rome.

2. 2

   Stroll down the Via Fori Imperiali (the Imperial Forum Road) where your friendly guide will tell you tales of the Emperors who left their mark on history by constructing smaller forums, as well as what happened to these areas in the age of Mussolini.

   Piazza del Campidoglio

   And what tour of Ancient Rome would be complete without a walk up the Capitoline Hill, now known as the Campidoglio, to see the center of the city and the reconstructed piazza designed by Michelangelo in the 16th century.

   Pass by the Tarpeian Rock on your way to the Forum Boarium, Rome's Ancient livestock market, where you will see the Temple of Hercules Victor as well as other Ancient Roman temples and arches and the Bocca della Verita.

   Circus Maximus

   Your tour culminates at the Circus Maximus, the incredible Ancient Roman stadium where the famous chariot races were held for centuries. Relive your own Ben Hur moment as you walk in the footsteps of the Romans.

It is highly recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen, hat and umbrella. **The tour does NOT go inside the Colosseum or any of the other attractions listed. The entire tour is outside** All tours operate within the current COVID-19 regulations set by the Italian Government. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be sure to dress warmly in colder temperatures. Transport to and from the meeting point is not provided.
