Winter in Chianti reveals its most mysterious and romantic face. We invite you to live a rare experience, where the morning fog envelops the hills and the warmth of the lit fireplaces creates a cozy and familiar atmosphere. This tour is not just a visit, it is an immersion in the season of production and slow stopping. The wineries are active and silent after the harvest, offering a unique opportunity to talk to producers and truly understand the aging process of Chianti Classico. The Pleasure of the Table : Personalized Tasting The visit culminates in our cosy Lounge or on the terrace with a view. At Luiano, tastings are an opportunity to have fun, learning in a light way. We will guide you through a selection of our wines, including Chianti Classico DOCG (Vintage, Reserve and Gran Selezione) and our Super Tuscan IGT (Lui di Luiano). Each taste is presented on our famous “talking placemat” and is accompanied DA Tuscan food pairings.

Piazza Matteotti, famous for its unique triangular shape (or DA le trapezoi) and surrounded by elegant medieval arcades. These arcades, once a shelter for merchants, are now home to artisan shops and historic butcher shops. Guided by our Destination Expert, you will explore the square uncovering stories, anecdotes and historical reasons that have made Greve the commercial and social centre of the region since the Middle Ages. Admire the statue of explorer Giovanni DA Verrazzano and the ancient Church of Santa Croce, before diving into the tastiest part of the tour.

You will then be taken inside the cellar, a place where tradition and innovation meet. You can admire the large barrels and barriques where the famous Chianti Classico and Supertuscan Seraselva mature slowly, acquiring complexity and structure.

With our expert local Guide, you will walk along its walls and concentric alleys, discovering the history of the noble families who inhabited it (including, it is said, the ancestors of Amerigo Vespucci).
