   The traditional style of life that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid 19th century till the 1970s is reflected at Al-Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, where buildings with high air towers (Barjeel), built with traditional building materials such as stone, gypsum, teak, sandal wood, fronds and palm wood are aligned side by side, separated by alleys, pathways and public squares, which give the district a natural and beautiful diversity.

   The Coins Museum

   The Coins Museum is a highly specialized museum that aims to attract people who are especially interested in rare and historic coins. It is located in Al-Fahidi Historic Neighborhood. It was established in 2004, and it is in a traditional Arabic building made out of coral, stone, plaster, sandalwood, leaves and trunks of palm trees. The museum's structure gives an overview of the past, showing the way the early residents of the UAE lived in one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the city
