Most days are ordinary. But some are so big that people are still talking about them 2,000 years later.
The 15th of March 44 BC - the infamous Ides of March - Caesar’s last day, was one of those days. And you’re about to step right into it.
Led by Roberta Jones, time traveller and licensed tour guide, you’ll walk the streets where Julius Caesar rose to power, commanded armies, and made powerful enemies.
As you explore iconic sites like the Capitoline Hill, the Jewish quarter, and Largo Argentina, actors bring ancient Rome to life around you. Meet Caesar himself, his wife Calpurnia, his enemy Brutus, and other characters caught up in the events that would change Rome forever.
You won’t just watch history. You’ll become part of it. Join Caesar’s army, become a Roman citizen, and find yourself drawn into one of the greatest conspiracies of the ancient world.
Was Caesar a hero or a tyrant? You decide.
Ancient Rome is waiting. Are you brave enough to step in?

Immerse yourself in the history of Rome’s first permanent theater, now home to a cat sanctuary and (spoiler alert) the site of Julius Caesar’s assassination. Here, Brutus and Caesar will each try to win you over to their side. The final choice, is up to you.
With the Colosseum behind you, walk along Via dei Fori Imperiali. After a few minutes, you’ll see the statue of Julius Caesar on your left. The statue depicts Caesar holding a scroll and stands in front of the ruins of the Forum of Caesar.
