   Begin the tour at the oldest building in the city: the Baptistery of Saint John. Standing in the square, admire its famous bronze doors, which Michelangelo famously called the “Gates of Paradise.”

   Florence Duomo

   Admire the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, renowned for its unique flower-shaped floor plan and the world’s largest masonry dome—the masterpiece of architect Filippo Brunelleschi. Even Michelangelo is said to have remarked: “It would be difficult to equal it… impossible to surpass it.” We will admire the Duomo from the outside. However, if there is no queue to enter, we will also visit the interior.
