From the palaces of life, we continue to the resting place of the Medici — the majestic Medici Chapels. Here, Michelangelo’s New Sacristy reveals its sculptural brilliance, where stone is shaped into both art and devotion. Nearby rises the Chapel of the Princes, a monumental mausoleum shimmering with Florentine mosaics of marble and semi-precious stones.
