   As you walk through the ancient walls into the the Square of Miracles, you will immediately be amazed by the incredible sites of Pisa! It is most famous for its perfectly intact, medieval city walls, which are a marvelous place to go for a walk or bike ride. During your free time in Lucca, be sure to check out Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, a glorious, historic square with local restaurants. For panoramic views of the city and beyond, head to the Guinigi Tower and its unique rooftop garden. Lucca is also known as the “City of 100 Churches,” so there are plenty of beautiful and intricate churches waiting to be discovered! Lucca has influenced artists and poets for centuries with its incomparable beauty… You will undoubtedly fall in love with this city!

   Piazza dell'Anfiteatro

   While exploring Lucca, make your way to the unique, oval-shaped heart of the city - Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. This square was first constructed in the 1st century AD as an amphitheatre, and then continued to flourish as it transformed into a vibrant market.
