Parliament Square
Meet your Blue Badge guide beside the Abraham Lincoln Statue in Parliament Square, opposite the Supreme Court. Get your bearings among Westminster's grand civic buildings before walking toward the Abbey's medieval towers.
Head straight inside with your timed entry ticket after the required security check. Beneath the ribbed vaults, follow your guide through the church where English and British monarchs have been crowned for centuries.
Look up at the stained-glass windows framing the church in colored light. Your guide connects the Gothic design to the royal ceremonies and worship held here over the centuries.
Pause inside the Abbey beside the Coronation Chair, the medieval oak seat used for the crowning of English and British monarchs. Then follow the royal burial trail to Queen Elizabeth I's tomb, set among the church's most significant memorials.
Walk through Poets' Corner, where Britain's greatest writers and cultural figures are commemorated among the Abbey's monuments. Your tour finishes here inside Westminster Abbey, leaving you free to revisit a favorite chapel or continue through royal London.
