   National Palace of Mafra

   The 18th Century construction, World Heritage by Unesco which is the biggest monument ever built in the country with more then 1200 hectars. The construction gathers a Convent and a Palace, both remarkable in their segments, but diverse as their conception might suggest. Its interior has one of the the most important Libraries in Europe with more then 30 thousand books. The bell towers of the basilica is something extraordinary, gathering 98 bells into 2 towers, one the biggest in the world. At the interior of the Royal Chapel you will see six historic organs, sat between 1792 and 1807.
