This historic stronghold once defended the coast against pirates, but today it serves as a global surfing museum and the ultimate panoramic viewpoint. Take in the breathtaking contrast between the wild, untamed swells of the north beach and the calm, golden crescent of Nazaré’s main town beach to the south.

   Journey inland to the enchanting, fully walled town of Óbidos, famously gifted by Portuguese kings to their queens. Enter through the majestic city gates and lose yourself in a labyrinth of pristine whitewashed houses draped in vibrant bougainvillea. Walk the historic cobblestone lanes, browse artisan handicraft shops, and immerse yourself in real medieval history. Before leaving, we’ll stop to taste the legendary Ginjinha, a delicious local cherry liqueur served in an edible chocolate cup.
