    3. Continue along shaded paths to other hidden vantage points, ending at the Gianicolo (Janiculum)Hill, the highest point in central Rome. From here, you'll see the entire city: the Vatican, the Colosseum, and all the domes. It's the perfect place to take photos and understand Rome's layout.
