A worldwide prestigious luxury brand, Moet Chandon is founded in 1743 by a wine trader named Claude Moet. Later in 1832, the name Chandon was added to the original brand Moet. Champagne Moet is produced exclusively from 3 main Champagne grapes: Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It’s true that its production is large. 3. Champagne Mercier

Along the 18 km of Mercier’s underground wine cellars, everything has been designed to impress the visitor: a panoramic elevator, huge low-relief sculptures carved into the wall, giant wine barrels. Of course, you can round off the visit with a glass of champagne here! Founded in 1858, Mercier has a long history, and one that is different from the other champagne producers of the same period. A unique character, stemming from the colorful personality of its founder, Eugène Mercier. A visionary and nonconformist, Eugène Mercier challenged the traditions of the Champagne region by creating a ‘champagne for all occasions’. Champagne was no longer reserved for the elite, but retained its remarkable quality. Soon, she invented the first known blended rosé champagne by blending still red and white wines, a process still used by the majority of champagne producers. By its composition, its treatment, and its details, the Pommery style is instantly recognizable, and it is classified as a “architecture masterpiece”. Built at the foot of the historic hillsides, classified as World Heritage by the UNESCO, this building remains a witness of the know-how of the winegrowing and winemaking industry for more than a century.
