The Basilica of Sagrada Familia is a catholic church designed and projected by Antonio Gaudí. The construction began in 1882 and it's still going on until the present day. It's considered as Gaudí's masterpiece, and the landmark of Barcelona. As one of the main attractions in Spain, Sagrada Familia is the 2nd most visited church in Europe, just after Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. When its construction concludes, it will become the highest catholic church in the world.
The Casa Milà, is well known as "La Pedrera" for the local people in Barcelona, is a Catalonian Modernist style building by Antoni Gaudí, built between 1906 and 1910. It is one of the most visited buildings in Barcelona, and it is famous by its shape and construction materials.
Paseo de Gracia is one of the main boulevard in Barcelona. Historically it was the favorite area of successful enterprisers and wealthy social class. Right now, it has become the most commercial and fabulous area. It also includes lots of important samples of Catalonian Modernist architecture, such as the Casa Batlló or Casa Milá (La Pedrera) by Antoni Gaudí, and other houses by great catalan architects like Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch, etc.
The Casa Amatller is a catalan modernist building that is located right beside the Casa Batlló, and it was designed projected by the catalan architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch between 1898 and 1900.
The Casa Lleó i Morera is considered as one of important buildings in the famous ''Discord Block'', and it was designed and projected by catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner.

The Casa Batlló is a building built by Antoni Gaudí, the greatest exponent of the Catalan Modernism style. The construction was between 1904 and 1906. It is located in the No.43 of Paseo de Gracia, just right in the famous ''Manzana de la Discordia" (in english "The Discord District"). This name was born due to the concentration of several catalan modernist buildings by different architects.
The full name of the Cathedral of Barcelona is ''Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia''. The Cathedral was a gothic style church, and it was built in 12th Centuries over the old Romanesque cathedral.
The Vía Layetana is an avenue that communicates the extension district and the Port by passing through the old town area. The name of the avenue was in order to honor the first iberian inhabitants of that area.

The Spanish square of Barcelona is one of the most emblematic spot of the city. It was built during the International Exposition Barcelona in 1929, following a project by Puig i Cadafalch and Guillem Busquets. It was finished by Antoni Darder. Other relevant buildings in the square are the Las Arenas Shopping Mall, which was originally a bullfight ring, as well as the so-called Torres Venecianas, inspired by the famous belfry in Venice.
The Spanish Village is an outdoor architectural museum located in Montjuïc hill. The enclosure contains 117 life-sized buildings that represent a typical spanish style villages, with its streets, houses, squares, theatre, school, restaurants and artisanal workshops. It was built due to the International Exposition of 1929.
The Olympic stadium is located in Montjuïc hill, and it was inaugurated the 20th of May of 1929 by Alfonso XIII, a day after the International Exposition. In order to celebrate the summer Olympics Games of 1992, the stadium was rebuilt practically in its totality (1985-1989), being re-inaugurated 60 years later as "Estadio Olímpico" on the 8th of September of 1989 by king Juan Carlos I.
The Jardins del Mirador del Alcalde is located on the top of Montjuïc hills, it is popular due to its great global view for both the city and the coast.
