Hidden inside a natural cave in the cliffs of Arrábida, this secluded sanctuary is reached by descending a staircase towards the ocean. The experience of entering the cave — with the sound of the sea and the Atlantic visible beyond the rocks — creates an extraordinary sense of place. Inside the cave are the remains of a small chapel dedicated to Saint Margaret, a reminder of the deep relationship between spirituality, nature, and the sea that has shaped this region for centuries.
