• Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Dress Code Visitors must wear respectful and modest clothing. Women should wear loose-fitting, non-transparent clothing covering the arms to the wrists and legs to the ankles. Hair must be fully covered with a headscarf. An abaya is acceptable but not compulsory if personal clothing meets these requirements. Tight, sleeveless or revealing clothing is not permitted. Men should wear full-length trousers or jeans with a T-shirt or shirt that covers the shoulders. Shorts, sleeveless tops, transparent clothing and tight-fitting outfits should be avoided. Entry may be refused if the official dress code is not followed.
