   Hike through forested hills to reach the Pravčice Gate — the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe and the proud symbol of Bohemian Switzerland. This breathtaking rock formation is surrounded by dramatic cliffs, forest canopies, and old stone lookout points. Right beneath the arch, we’ll pause at the historic Falcon’s Nest Lodge, where travelers have rested for over a century. Depending on the weather, it’s the perfect spot to cool down or warm up — and take in the view with a drink in hand. Seasonal note: Pravčická Gate is closed from November to March due to winter conditions and shorter daylight hours.    After a morning of exploring, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a cozy local restaurant, where you’ll experience authentic Czech cuisine. Expect hearty traditional dishes — from slow-cooked meats and rich sauces with typical dumplings to seasonal specialties. Please note that vegan and vegetarian options in traditional Czech cuisine are limited, but we are happy to coordinate with the kitchen to find a suitable meal.    We end the day in the otherworldly landscape of Tisá Rocks, a natural labyrinth of towering sandstone walls, narrow passages, and hidden corridors. This peaceful reserve is a true hidden gem — quiet, cool in the summer, and almost magical in the winter snow.

   You might recognize the scenery from The Chronicles of Narnia, but walking between these sculpted giants is even better in real life.
