In the middle Ages, Strahov monastery was among the most essential church institutions in Bohemia. Nowadays it houses the nation’s oldest books. ​

Ever since its construction in the 17th century, the Loreta has been an important place of pilgrimage. It was commissioned by Czech aristocrat who was very keen to promote the legend of Santa Casa of Loreto.

From the highest part of the garden, you will see magnificent views of Prague Castle and the city centre. It has a vast collection of the statues of classical gods and the paintings in the garden pavilion!

   Continue your way to the Morzin Palace where the embassy of Romania is situated today. Climb the stairways to explore a quiet baroque garden decorated with fountains and statues.    Finish your tour at the marvellous Waldstein Palace which is used as the headquarters of the Czech senate. Hear stories about military commander Albrecht von Wallenstein, whose fatal ambitions led him to death. Everything looks almost the same as it was in the 17th century, except for peacocks, who just wander around while you are trying to capture a photo with them.
