Before leaving Florence, we will make a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. Our first destination is the medieval village of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its 13 medieval towers that dominate the skyline. During your visit to this enchanting village, you’ll enjoy your first wine tasting experience. Next, we will drive through Tuscany’s scenic countryside roads towards Greve in Chianti. At a local winery, you will indulge in a second wine tasting, accompanied by a traditional light lunch featuring typical Tuscan products. Piazzale Michelangelo is a famous square in Florence, offering panoramic views of the city and its iconic landmarks, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery. Located on a hill south of the Arno River, it’s a popular spot for both tourists and locals to admire the beauty of Florence, especially at sunset. The square also features a bronze replica of Michelangelo's David statue and is easily accessible by foot or by bus.
