À propos de cette activité

Did you think that in London you only eat fish & chips and packaged sandwiches? Yeah, great. This tour exists precisely to destroy the cliché. On this downtown food tour you'll sample some of the most iconic dishes of modern British cuisine. It's a tour where you really eat. And good. And we talk about history, culture, immigration, pubs, wars, spices, social classes and strange British obsessions. During the tour we will taste 4 very English tastings In the meantime, you'll discover: • why English cuisine has such a bad reputation • how London became a world gastronomic capital • why the British love pubs so much • the link between the British Empire and London cuisine • what Londoners really eat today The tour is designed for small groups, in Italian, with a relaxed pace and lots of curiosities. Perfect both for those visiting London for the first time and for those who want to see a more authentic London... one fork at a time
