   Tour tailored to your needs and interests. You will meet your Private Guide near Central Station, in the heart of Amsterdam’s Old Town, where young Vincent often hanged out. The commentary will introduce you to interesting stories and anecdotes from van Gogh’s personal life and work, exploring the most important events in the artist’s childhood and adulthood.

   Old Church

   As you pass near the Oude Church, you will learn about Vincent’s commitment to religion and why he didn't fulfill his plan to study theology at the University of Amsterdam. You will also find out who, what and why inspired Van Gogh to start painting. The guide will help you reimagine Amsterdam through the eyes of a depressed, struggling artist.

   Rijksmuseum

   The tour will end in front of the 19th-century Rijksmuseum, an art museum where Van Gogh spent hours studying the Dutch Golden Age and European art.
