   Vatican Museums

   After meeting with your tour guide, you will reach the usually packed museum entrance, where, skipping the check-in line, you will enter the museums through a panoramic terrace. You will enjoy a stunning view of St. Peter's dome overlooking the Vatican gardens

   the perfect spot to take a great picture! The guide will then walk you through all the highlights of the museums which include masterpieces and artefacts from different cultures and civilizations. You will enter the Pio Clementine museum, famous for its unique Greek/Roman ancient statues such as the Laocoon group, you will gasp at the length of the enormous Tapestry Hall, then through the Hall of the Painted Maps, you will enter the Sistine Chapel whose impact in history, religion and visual arts has no equal in the world. All of this in a small and intimate group of maximum 10 people since we don't want to make our clients feel uncomfortable in big groups.

   Sistine Chapel

   Inside the world renowned Sistine Chapel, you will admire Michelangelo's frescoed ceiling, considered by many art historians, as one of the greatest masterpieces in history. Point de rendez-vous

You will meet your tour guide in Viale Vaticano 100, in front of the coffee bar “Caffé Vaticano”. The tour guide will hold a sign with the name “Exploro Tours” written on it. Start time: 10:30am or 2pm depending on your reservation.

• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• A moderate amount of walking is involved
• Meeting point at 10:30am or 2:00pm
• The tour operator is not responsible for last minute, unpredictable closures, strikes or union meetings of St Peter's Basilica. Nevertheless, the tour operator will be happy to offer customers an extended tour for the remaining time.
• Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starting time. The guide will leave from the meeting point 15 minutes after the tour starting time. In case of delay beyond 15 minutes, no refund will be given.
