   San Servolo is a small island in the Venetian Lagoon, located between Venice and the Lido. Known for its past as a monastery and later as a psychiatric hospital, the island is now an important cultural and academic center.    San Lazzaro degli Armeni

   San Lazzaro degli Armeni is a small island in the Venetian Lagoon, located next to San Servolo. It is famous for housing the monastery of the Armenian Mekhitarist Congregation, one of the most important centers of Armenian culture in the world. The island is home to a precious library, ancient manuscripts, and works of art, making it a place of great historical, cultural, and spiritual significance, immersed in the tranquility of the lagoon.

   Venice Lido

   Lazzaretto Vecchio

   Lazzaretto Vecchio is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, located near the Lido, opposite Malamocco. Considered the first quarantine station in the world, it was used by the Republic of Venice as a quarantine site to prevent the spread of epidemics, particularly the plague. Today, the island is an important historical and archaeological site, bearing witness to Venice’s role in public health management and maritime trade.
