      4. Piazza del Popolo

As we descend from the Pincian Hill, we’ll ride past the grand Piazza del Popolo—one of Rome’s most iconic squares. As we cruise through the heart of Rome in our Vespa sidecar, one of the most iconic landmarks we pass—though not enter—is the Vatican City. This tiny independent city-state, the spiritual center of the Roman Catholic Church, is home to St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. While our tour doesn’t include a stop inside, you’ll get a unique street-level view of the Vatican’s majestic walls and bustling surroundings. It’s a perfect photo moment and a chance to take in the grandeur of the world’s smallest country—right from your seat in the sidecar!
