   Uffizi Galleries

   The Uffizi Gallery, located in Florence, Italy, is one of the most renowned art museums in the world. It is housed in a historic building called the Uffizi, which was originally constructed in the 16th century to house offices ("uffizi" in Italian) for Florentine magistrates.
