Along the way, you’ll taste the city’s very best bagels, explore their rich history, and go behind the scenes at a bustling bakery producing thousands of bagels daily. Visit three standout shops, each with its own specialty — from inventive cream cheese flavors to the famous rainbow bagel, and even an award-winning bagel sandwich. Learn how this humble bread became a New York staple and a symbol of the city’s food culture. Tastings are designed so you’ll enjoy plenty of variety: bagels cut into quarters, spreads from classic cream cheese to bold flavors, and New York favorites like bacon, egg & cheese or lox with “the works.” By the end of your tour, you won’t just be full — you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for New York’s bagel tradition and insider tips on where to find the best bagels across the city.
