Sintra has become a popular destination over the last few years, but some places have been overlooked. The idea of this tour is to take you to lush places where even in the high season you do not have to spend time in lines. You get the chance to visit a castle and a palace as well as explore a bit of the coast of Sintra, where there are several lovely restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. We visit the historic Mourish Castle at the top of one of Sintra hills where on a clear day you can have fantastic views of the town and see as far out towards the Atlantic Ocean and even past Lisbon.

Enjoy one of the less visited palaces of Sintra, located on the outskirts of the town of Sintra, hidden within the hills and nature, where you can truly experience why Sintra was considered the capital of Romanticism in the 19th century. A lovely private palace built in the mid 19th century with a mixture of Indian and Arabic architecture.

We finish the day with a scenic last stop at the most western point of mainland Europe - Cabo da Roca. Located at 140m above sea level where the waves crash at the bottom of the cliffs. It was the last place the Portuguese navigators saw before the headed into the Atlantic Ocean on their journeys.
