Next, we will head to Belém, one of Lisbon’s most famous neighborhoods, where history comes to life. Walking through its streets, we are transported to Portugal’s golden age, when explorers embarked on epic journeys to discover new lands. We will see the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and the famous Discoveries Monument, all telling the story of Portugal’s great maritime explorations. We’ll also treat you to Portugal’s most famous sweet, Pastel de Belém, along with a traditional ginjinha (a local drink).
