Inoltre, il nome “San Gimignano” è legato ad uno dei vini toscani più storici: “La Vernaccia”. Duomo di Siena (visit outside), is a medieval church in Siena, Italy, dedicated from its earliest days as a Roman Catholic Marian church, and now dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. Built between 1214 and 1263, it has a Latin cross structure, a not very protruding dome with the bell tower next to it. Both the exterior and the interior are decorated in blocks of white marble which are alternated with thinner greenish black stripes, these are the representative colors of Siena.
