Abbiamo iniziato visitando il centro storico di Sintra, ricco di edifici antichi e splendidi monumenti. È possibile scegliere un palazzo da visitare al mattino: Palazzo Nazionale, Palazzo Biester, Quinta da Regaleira, Palazzo Pena, Palazzo Monserrate o Palazzo Queluz. Dopo pranzo, andremo ad Azenhas do Mar, un villaggio con case costruite sul mare e una piscina naturale. Poi ci siamo fermati a Cabo da Roca, il punto più occidentale d'Europa, che offre viste spettacolari. Siamo passati dalla famosa spiaggia di Guincho, abbiamo visitato la Boca do Inferno (Bocca dell'Inferno), una formazione rocciosa, e infine la pittoresca e vivace cittadina di Cascais, con la sua spiaggia e il centro pieno di ristoranti e negozi. Our tour departs from Lisbon to one of Portugal’s most romantic destinations: Sintra. Here we stroll through the Historic Center, take pictures and tell the history of this Villa. Now it is time to enter through the beautiful Serra de Sintra, crossing pretty old, bucolic streets, where the royal charrets passed and, a few kilometers later, we reached the westernmost point of Europe – Cabo da Roca – whose mountains, with a height of 140 meters, end by the sea and so ends Europe. On site, there is a lighthouse, a gift shop and a coffee shop.

Our next destination is the famous rocky formation by the sea, the Mouth of Hell. The name of the locality is due to the impact of the waves hitting the rocks, which often seem to shake the ground. The sun reflecting in the water is very beautiful, as it blends the serenity of the open sea with the strength of the waves that go against the rocks.
