   Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art

   The Collection starts with the 50th abstraction and follows the evolution of European pop, the avant-garde of the sixties and seventies, the centrality of the word and poetic experience, and the return of photographic figurative. In order to fulfill its educational mission, MACBA offers a series of programs and resources that help visitors to engage with its contents. There's a team of full-time educators work with the public, offering presentations and guided tours at set times and tours for groups by prior arrangement. They are also available to help the public with questions that may arise during their visit to the museum, provide information on the works displayed and comment on the exhibitions. The purpose of the museum is to become a space where knowledge is created through interaction with the artworks, a place that encourages dialogue and shared reflection among educators and the many different kinds of people who visit it.

• The admission ticket is valid for one month. It allows unlimited multiple entries to all current exhibitions for one month from the date of purchase, as well as access to the activities of the Experience MACBA program over the same period

• • Admission schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 11 a.m to 7:30 p.m Saturdays - 10 a.m to 8 p.m Sundays and holidays - 10 a.m to 3pm Important: From the 25th of June until the 24 of September the museum will open at 10 a.m and will close at 8 p.m on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 15th of August: 10 a.m to 3 p.m
