   Departing from central Florence, sit back and watch the Tuscan countryside unfold through your window. No GPS, no parking, no designated driver stress—just you, the views, and a great day ahead.

   Your guide points out medieval towers and century-old estates as you wind through the heart of Chianti. Then, arrive at Fontaleoni, a family-run winery founded in 1959. Follow a sommelier into the cellar and learn the estate's evolution from mixed farming to producing some of the region's finest Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti. Next, settle in for a traditional Tuscan lunch. Taste four estate wines as you work through a spread of appetizers, handmade pasta with tomato sauce, and cantucci biscuits dipped in sweet Vin Santo. It's unhurried, indulgent, and exactly what wine country afternoons were made for.

   After lunch, hop back in the car to head to the next vineyard estate. Arrive at Poggio ai Laghi, a winery located on the plateau between two lakes. The microclimate here makes it ideal for growing Sangiovese, Merlot, and Vermentino.

   Your second sommelier-led tasting includes six carefully selected wines that showcase the estate's signature elegance. Between sips, you'll sample their rich olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, cured meats, and brushetta. Your tour finishes with a scenic ride back to central Florence. Enjoy a relaxing return and feel free to ask your guide for local recommendations before you part ways.
