Discover the heart of Amsterdam on a private 2-hour walk with your own local guide. See the canals, hidden courtyards and historic squares at your own pace, with time for your questions. Skip the big-group crowds and explore Amsterdam's historic city centre with a guide who is there just for you. On this private 2-hour walking tour, your guide shows you the highlights and hidden corners of the old town, and tailors the route and stories to your interests. Wander along the UNESCO-listed canal ring, step into a peaceful hidden courtyard, and stand on the square where the city began. Hear how a small fishing village grew into one of the world's richest cities during the Golden Age, and learn about Amsterdam's merchants, rebels and famous residents. Along the way, your guide shares local tips on where to eat, drink and shop, so you can make the most of the rest of your stay. Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, this tour gives you a personal introduction to the real Amsterdam.
