   Roman Forum

   Next, you’ll walk to the Arch of Constantine and the Forum, both located close to the Colosseum. The Forum was at the centre of life in Ancient Rome, a hub for politics, religion and commerce. Here you’ll find the ruins of the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House and the Basilica of Maxentius, to name but a few.

   Vittoriano e Palazzo Venezia

   One of the most distinctive monuments in Rome today is Il Vittoriano built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II. Built in the neoclassical style, this imposing building is referred to as the “Wedding Cake” by the locals, for reasons which will become clear! Located nearby is the Quirinal Palace, the official residence of the current Italian President.

   You will then head to the famous Trevi Fountain, a showcase of baroque sculpture!
