Artemis was the Greek goddess, the virginal huntress and twin of Apollo, who replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon. The ancient temple was built around 650 BC to the cult of Artemis, was constructed on a site already sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess,Cybele. The temple was financed by the wealthy king of Lydia and marshy ground was selected for the building site as a precaution against future earthquakes.

Cappadocia and Pamukkale are the only places that look for surrealist sites which are not from this world. Today, we will visit Pamukkale which means “cotton castle” in Turkish, and it is a natural site containing hot springs and travertines

terraces of mineral carbonates left by the water flowing with its temperate climate throughout the years. After your guide completed giving the information, you will have free time (1 to 2 hours) to take your time in the terraces of Pamukkale with swimming in the Natural Springs or with exploring the Ancient Ruins of Hierapolis City.

At the end of the tour around 15:30 – 16:30 we will make our way to Airport for an hour drive and you will have your flight back to Istanbul. When you arrive to Istanbul Airport, our team will be waiting for you at the exit gate of the domestic terminal with holding a sign in which your name is written.
