With this tour we will explore Monet’s life and his work. You will visit the museum and see a group of artists who shared a set of related approaches and techniques. We will talk about the revolution in the history of art which began in the late 1800s. Monet was a leader of the movement, and his brief brush strokes and fragmented color application found their way into works of others. You will see a part of the lovely area of Paris 16 and Monet's charming house and garden in Giverny.

The magnificent townhouse with its perfectly preserved Empire-style decor was once owned by MR Marmottan and is now home to the Musée Marmottan Monet. In addition to its collection of pre-modern paintings, sculptures and illuminations, it boasts the world’s leading collections of works by Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot. This outstanding Impressionist treasure is further enriched by works from Delacroix, Boudin, Manet, Degas, Caillebotte, Sisley, Pissarro, Gauguin and Rodin, with Chagall representing the modernist period. The Musée Marmottan Monet, located in Paris, holds a collection of both Impressionist and Post Impressionist Paintings by Claude Monet and other contemporaries of the time.
