   British Museum

Step inside one of the world’s greatest collections with a private, in-depth British Museum experience led by a top local expert who knows its hidden stories and secrets. Begin with icons like the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon Marbles and the Moai Hoa Hakananai’a, before diving into overlooked treasures: the dazzling Sutton Hoo burial finds, the expressive Lewis Chessmen, and the 5,000-year-old Gebelein Man, still astonishingly intact. In the atmospheric Enlightenment Gallery, your guide reveals curiosities from the age of discovery, including the famed Feejee Mermaid — now known to be an exquisite Japanese composite once mistaken for a real creature — and relics linked to legend, faith and exploration. This is more than a museum visit; it’s a vivid journey through human history brought to life by a guide who turns every object into a story you’ll never forget.
