   The Mauritshuis is a Dutch museum in The Hague. It is named after its founder, the Grand Pensionary of Holland Johan Maurits, Baron of Wassenaer and son of the Dutch stadtholder William II. The Mauritshuis was founded in 1765 as a private collection by consul-general Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen. It has been open to the public since 1819.

Visitors are able to see an extensive collection of paintings and sculptures from all over the world, going from old masters to modern artists. The building was designed by Willem Marinus Dudok in 1931 and opened its doors in 1937. The museum has been closed for restoration since 2009, but will reopen its doors in 2020 with a new name: NEMO - National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

   Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen

   The Boijmans-van Beuningen museum is one of the most popular museums in the Netherlands. It is home to one of the largest collections of paintings in the world, including works by Rembrandt, Rubens, and Vermeer. The museum was founded in 1849 by a Dutch painter and art collector named Willem Jacob Frederik Boijmans. In 1877, it moved to its current location on Museumplein in Rotterdam. The museum’s collection includes more than 1,200 paintings from the Dutch Golden Age and 5,000 drawings from all periods. Boijmans-van Beuningen is famous for having a large collection of art from Piet Mondriaan and Vincent van Gogh.

   Church of St. Lawrence

   The Sint-Laurenskerk is one of the most important and well-known churches in the Netherlands. It is a Catholic church, located in Rotterdam. The Sint-Laurenskerk was built from 1881 to 1884 and it replaced an earlier church that had been destroyed by fire. The new church was designed by Pierre Cuypers who also designed the Rijksmuseum and the Amsterdam Central Station.
